How to set up the EGGspander
Innovation at its finest
The EGGspander is a genuine game changer. As well as massively increasing your cooking area, the different heights and surfaces offer enormous amounts of flexibility. You can be grilling your meat on one side, while roasting your potatoes on the other and leaving your gravy to bubble away above. If you’re new to the EGG, it’s THE indispensable accessory to go for. If you’re not, you’re going to wonder how you survived without it.
Step one: Add the ConvEGGtor Basket
The ConvEGGtor Basket is the frame for your EGGspander System. Its metal framework provides two levels on which cooking surfaces can be installed. The first step of any EGGspander cook is to simply insert this basket into the EGG.
Step two: Add your Half Moon Surfaces
Once your ConvEGGtor Basket is in place, there are a series of half moon cooking surfaces that can be dropped into place: Stainless Steel Grid, Cast Iron Searing Grid, Baking Stone. These allow for the simultaneous use of different cooking modes and different heights.
Step three: Add your Multi-Level Rack
For even greater cooking space and better organisation, you have the option of adding the Multi-Level Rack to your ConvEGGtor Basket. This is good for gently heating dishes or keeping them warm.
