Uniting through Charcoal
Just like football, the Big Green Egg has found a home on every continent. Just like football, it brings people together and create memories that last a lifetime. But unlike football, our friends in America – home of the EGG – can genuinely claim to lead the way. Now’s our chance to take them on at their own game.
Global Flavour Battle Begins
This summer, the team at Big Green Egg HQ in Atlanta are running a ‘Global Flavor Bracket’ (no ‘u’). Each week on Instagram Stories, the signature EGG recipes of countries around the globe are going head to head in a knockout tournament. The dish with the most likes goes through. Whoever proves to be the Messi of the charcoal will lift the prize.

Back Jack's Fish Dish
Sadly, Keith Greig’s Scottish venison dish got knocked out in the first round, but Jack Stein’s elevated take on fish and chips is still hitting the target. Beyond late-night prayers, there’s not much we can do to help England progress in the football, but we can directly influence Jack’s march through the bracket. Vote now to see him through.

ABOUT JACK STEIN
Son of the legendary Rick Stein – English cookery royalty – Jack grew up in his father’s kitchens, working as a porter and a waiter before heading off to university. The allure of the pass soon drew him back to the family businesses, where he learnt his craft as a chef before honing his skills in restaurants across the world. He is now chef director of the Stein restaurant group, working closely with his parents and siblings. He’s been cooking on the Big Green Egg for many years.
