Most people think of Peugeot as a carmaker. Not us. In reality, Peugeot is a historic maker of coffee, pepper and salt mills that happened to branch out into cars. The company made its first pepper grinder in 1874, when the motor car was just a glimmer in Carl Benz’s eye, and it continues to create some of the world’s finest mills, revered by chefs and home cooks.
FAQs
The pepper grinder is suitable for whole black, white, green and red peppercorns, and pink peppercorns up to 15% in a blend. It also works well with coriander seeds. The best salt for your salt mill is dry rock salt.
We recommend using a dry, clean cloth to clean your mill. Detergents or cleaning agents should not be used. For stubborn mess, a damp cloth that has been dipped in clean warm water and the mills dried immediately with a clean tea towel. Do not air dry.
